Mike Ward

Vice President Sales, Parts & Component Repair

Mike brings over twenty-five years of aviation experience the DAS team. Previously Mike recently served as Senior General Manager, Aftermarket MRO operations at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kansas. Mike’s career leadership roles include DIR/GM for Hawker Beechcraft Services and Textron Aviation Service, MRO Service Center at Houston Hobby in Houston Texas.  His career includes VIP wide body interior modifications and engineering and technical team oversight of 747-800 aircraft check fit /installations of all monuments for a Heads of State and political leadership aircraft operators.

Over a six period, Mike served as President of the Appearance Group Inc. resulting in substantial market share and revenue growth. Mike is an instrument-rated private pilot and aircraft owner with over 3000 logged flight hours.

Mr. da Silva joined DAS in May of 2009, serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  He oversees DAS' corporate and commercial aviation sales team, client centric customer service, brand recognition and industry reputation. 

Mr. da Silva was directly responsible for DAS’ expansion into Brazilian, Central and South American Aviation and Aerospace markets. He holds a Jurisprudence Doctor’s Degree and has gained multi-cultural recognition of customer focused interpersonal business skills. 

Mr. da Silva's charge is to maintain and grow DAS’  prescence and reputation in  the global market as an industry leading 145 Repair Station.


Terry Cooper

Mr. Cooper brings more than 30 years of aviation knowledge to DAS.

His experience ranges from working with bonded structures and sheet metal assemblies, to quality control, both in the corporate and commercial markets.

Mr. Cooper experience includes the quality control oversight of commercial aircraft repair assurance to operators including Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and other recognized carriers.

Mr. Cooper’s extensive background in project scheduling and forecasting management directly supports DAS’ goal focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Crain has been an aviation industry specialist since 1992, with formal training at the Aerospace Maintenance School of Technology. He specializes in metal to metal bonding, structural, mechanical re-engineering and quality management.  As an original member of the DAS team, Mr. Crain has been integral in the growth and reputation of the company.

Mr. Crain’s background includes hands-on and supervisory roles with HAC, Chromalloy and other structural aircraft repair stations.

Mr. Crain’s mission is to uphold strict quality standards as expected by DAS clientele. His role includes FAA requirement adherence, OEM customer and case audits, which he accomplishes through the company’s employee-oriented culture. 



MATTHEW Patterson

Mr. Patterson has been in the aviation industry for 21 years, having received his training from Raytheon and L-3 Communications.  He has served as an airframe licensed mechanic for 10 years on a variety of aircraft platforms, and is highly skilled in aircraft assembly / disassembly, structural repair / overhaul, and all aspects of composite / metal bonding. 

Mr. Patterson has over 10 years supervisory / management / scheduling experience at L-3 Communications and Dallas Aeronautical Services.  He is an efficient, organized, and talented leader.  He plays a crucial part in maintaining and growing DAS.

Mr. Patterson’s focus is to continue to grow DAS and become the most recognized and respected 145 repair station in the industry, maintain the superb quality in workmanship and produce the fastest turn times possible.
